Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated June 22, 2026
Our community rules. Pano has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users — here’s what isn’t allowed, how to report it, and how we act on reports.
Pano is a place to share widescreen video and reply with your voice. These rules apply to everyone and to everything on Pano — panos, takes, voice reactions, whispers, direct messages, comments, profiles, and usernames. They are part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By using Pano you agree to follow them.
**Pano has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior.** Content and accounts that violate these rules are removed, and we may suspend or permanently ban anyone who breaks them.
Content that is never allowed
- **Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualization of minors.** This is prohibited without exception. We remove it, terminate the account, preserve evidence, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
- **Sexually explicit or pornographic content,** and non-consensual intimate imagery.
- **Harassment, bullying, or threats** — targeting, intimidating, demeaning, or inciting others to harass a person or group.
- **Hate speech** — attacks or dehumanization based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity, disability, or serious disease.
- **Violent, graphic, or gory content** intended to shock, and any incitement, glorification, or facilitation of violence or terrorism.
- **Content that promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.**
- **Illegal activity** — including the sale of illegal or regulated goods, fraud, and other unlawful conduct.
- **Spam, scams, and platform manipulation** — including fake engagement, deceptive links, and bulk unsolicited messaging.
- **Impersonation** of another person, brand, or organization, and other deceptive identity behavior.
- **Content that infringes** someone else’s intellectual property or privacy, or that shares private information (doxxing) without consent.
How to behave
- Post your own content, or content you have the rights to share.
- Be honest about who you are.
- Respect other people — including those you disagree with.
- Respect the decisions of creators about their own content and conversations.
Reporting and blocking
Every pano, take, voice reaction, message, comment, and profile has a Report option. If you see something that breaks these rules, report it — reports are confidential. You can also block any user from their profile or a conversation; blocking stops them from contacting you or interacting with you.
If you believe content infringes your copyright, or you have an urgent safety concern, email us at team@pano.fm.
How we enforce these rules
We review reports and act on violations, typically within 24 hours. Depending on the severity and history, we may:
- Remove the offending content;
- Limit the reach of, or add a warning to, content;
- Warn, temporarily suspend, or permanently ban the account; and
- Where required or appropriate, preserve information and notify law enforcement.
We also use automated systems to help detect prohibited content. If we remove your content or restrict your account and you believe we made a mistake, you can appeal by contacting team@pano.fm.
Changes
We may update these rules as Pano grows. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Continued use of Pano means you accept the current rules.
